Common Questions
Do you offer laser engraving in Oregon?
Yes. We're based in the Willamette Valley near Albany, Oregon, serving Albany, Corvallis, and Eugene locally and taking orders nationwide by mail. There is no storefront or walk-in option.
Do you offer gold plating on firearms?
Yes. We offer full gold plating services, primarily on pistols such as 1911s and pistol slides. Every project is custom — reach out through our contact form or by email to discuss your specific piece and get a quote.
What is pistol porting and does it help with recoil?
Porting is $185 standard, $120 barrel only (you still send the slide, spring, and barrel so we can confirm alignment), or $265 with Cerakote.
Do you do optic cuts for red dots?
Optic cuts are $210, including single-color Cerakote.
Are you an FFL?
Yes. We are a Type 07 FFL/SOT. That license covers gunsmithing and custom work including builds, modifications, engraving, stippling, porting, optic cuts, and finish work.
How do I order a custom build or service from 365 Weapons?
Optic cuts and porting can be ordered directly through our website. For everything else — custom builds, engraving, stippling, gold plating, and other finish work — use the contact form or email us for a quote tailored to your specific project.
How long does a build or service take?
Optic cuts and porting: Generally about 14 business days for standard jobs (not guaranteed; multi-color Cerakote or unusual work can take longer). Glock slide engraving is 3 to 6 weeks. Premium custom builds and stippling get a timeline with the quote.
How do I ship my firearm to you?
For a complete firearm, a frame, or a bare slide, contact us first and we'll send the shipping address and signed FFL details. Stippling: contact us and pay in full, then we send those details. Your local FFL ships the frame only, and we return it to that same FFL (we currently pay that return shipping). A premium custom build needs a 50% deposit before we send FFL information; design starts after the gun arrives, and it is returned once the balance is paid. Porting and optic cuts: ship using the prepaid shipping label we provide you. For porting, send the upper. Do not send a frame.
How much does custom work cost?
Optic cuts are $210, including single-color Cerakote. Porting is $185 standard, $120 barrel only (you still send the slide, spring, and barrel so we can confirm alignment), or $265 with Cerakote. Glock slide engraving is $425–$995. A premium custom build is $1,700–$4,500. $1,300 and $1,600 are engraving coverage only, not the build price. Priority return shipping is $19.99.
