Optic Cut & Porting Terms and Conditions
365Weapons LLC
Effective Date: May 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing optic cut or porting services from 365Weapons LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), submitting a work order, or shipping components for service, the customer ("Customer" or "you") agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not place an order or submit components for services.
2. Scope of Services
These Terms apply specifically to:
- Optic cut services
- Slide milling
- Barrel porting
- Slide porting
- Related machining services
All services involve permanent modification of firearm components.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
365Weapons LLC reserves the right to utilize trusted third-party machinists, contractors, or affiliated service providers to perform certain machining operations related to optic cuts or porting services.
By submitting an order, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- Certain services may be fulfilled from multiple facilities or locations.
- Certain machining operations may be performed by authorized third-party providers acting on behalf of 365Weapons LLC.
- All customer communication, billing, support, and order management remain exclusively through 365Weapons LLC.
All Terms and Conditions contained herein apply equally to any subcontracted services performed in connection with the Customer's order.
4. Customer Responsibility for Order Details
Customer is solely responsible for ensuring all submitted order information is accurate, including but not limited to:
- Firearm model identification
- Optic footprint selection
- Porting selections
- Requested machining options
365Weapons LLC is not responsible for incorrect selections or information submitted by the Customer.
Once machining work has begun, orders may not be canceled, reversed, or modified.
5. Acknowledgment of Permanent Modification
The Customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that:
- Optic cuts and porting permanently modify firearm components.
- These modifications are irreversible.
- Modifications may alter reliability, cycling characteristics, recoil behavior, maintenance requirements, or factory specifications.
- Modifications may void manufacturer warranties.
The Customer accepts all risks associated with modified firearm components.
6. Optic Cut Disclaimer
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- Proper optic installation is the responsibility of the Customer.
- Certain optics, screws, mounting hardware, or aftermarket components may require fitting or adjustment.
- Optic cuts may not be compatible with all aftermarket parts or configurations.
365Weapons LLC is not responsible for:
- Improper optic installation
- Loose optics
- Loss of zero
- Damage caused by improper mounting hardware
- Compatibility issues involving third-party optics or components
7. Porting Disclaimer
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that porting services may:
- Increase firearm noise and concussion
- Increase muzzle flash
- Expel gases or debris upward
- Increase wear on internal components
- Affect reliability depending on ammunition or recoil spring configuration
365Weapons LLC does not guarantee reliability with all ammunition types, recoil systems, aftermarket components, suppressors, or firearm configurations after porting services are performed.
8. Shipping and Risk of Loss
Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable shipping laws and regulations.
Risk of loss or damage during inbound shipping remains with the Customer until the package is received by 365Weapons LLC or its authorized service provider.
Risk of loss transfers back to the Customer once the completed order is accepted by the shipping carrier for return delivery.
365Weapons LLC is not liable for carrier delays, theft, loss, shipping damage, or misdelivery once a package is in the possession of the shipping carrier.
9. Turnaround Times
All turnaround times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
365Weapons LLC shall not be liable for delays caused by workload, vendor processing times, shipping carrier delays, equipment issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 365WEAPONS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM SERVICES PROVIDED.
THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:
- FIREARM MALFUNCTIONS
- LOSS OF USE
- LOSS OF VALUE
- PROPERTY DAMAGE
- PERSONAL INJURY
- THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS
IN ALL CASES, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF 365WEAPONS LLC SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Minor cosmetic variations or machining marks shall not be considered defects.
11. Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 365Weapons LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
- The Customer's use of modified firearm components
- Improper installation or maintenance
- Third-party injuries or damages
- Violations of law
- Breach of these Terms
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
13. Customer Acknowledgment
By placing an order, shipping components, or authorizing work, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
